Our story
Fifteen years of
straight lines.
Postforge started with one man, one truck and a neighbor who needed a fence. Dale Hutchins had spent years framing houses and knew that the part of a fence nobody sees, the posts, is the part that decides how long it lasts.
Today we are a full crew building wood, vinyl, aluminum and commercial fences across East Tennessee. The trucks are bigger, but the rule is the same: set it deep, keep it straight and leave the yard cleaner than we found it.
First fence
Dale builds his first cedar fence for a neighbor in Fountain City with a borrowed post-hole digger.
A real crew
Two full-time installers, one truck and one rule: every post gets checked twice.
Commercial work
We start fencing business parks, HOAs and storage yards across Knox and Blount County.
Fence number 500
Our 500th job, a pool enclosure in Farragut, passes inspection on the first visit.
